Itunu Pepper – B.A.Y (Prod by Chordratic Beats)
It’s always nice to hear up & coming acts experiment on songs done by established names (local or international) so you can tell just how good they are when compared to the “elder-statesmen”. Itunu Pepper had previously made an appearance here on NJO with a sweet ballad called “Dis Is Love” and then followed it up with “Christmas Dream”.
This new effort “B.A.Y” is a mash-up of classic love songs: Labrinth and Emeli Sande’s“Beneath Your Beautiful” , 2face’s “African Queen” and Banky W’s “Yes/No”. I think it’s brilliant. Your thoughts?
