Sound Sultan, Sean Tizzle Settle “Sho Lee” Dispute | Official Statement
In response to wide-spread reports that Sound Sultan and Sean Tizzle are involved in some sort of war over ownership of rights to the hit single “Sho Lee” (View post/interview), the label/management of both acts, Naija Ninjas and Difference Entertainment, have moved quickly to end such speculation by putting out a press release.
Sound Sultan has also gone public by posting a picture of himself, D’Tunes, Sean Tizzle and attorneys after putting pen to paper on the new agreement which was reached a few days ago.
OFFICIAL PRESS STATEMENT:
“It has come to our notice that a purported “BREACH OF CONTRACT” story between NAIJA NINJAS AND SEAN TIZZLE OFDIFFERENCE ENTERTAINMENT recently surfaced the internet. It was also rumoured that SOUND SULTAN is currently planning to pursue litigation over the aforesaid.
It is worthy of note to let you know that Ace Musician SOUND SULTAN(CEO NAIJA NINJAS), is someone we know personally and respect so much in the Nigerian music industry. Contrary to what unscrupulous rumour peddlers have been publicizing, we can categorically state that we have no issues whatsoever with SOUND SULTAN and NAIJA NINJASas a company has no axe to grind with neither SEAN TIZZLE norDIFFERENCE ENTERTAINMENT.
It is unarguable that SEAN TIZZLE was a member of NAIJA NINJAS but it’s ideal to let you know that his initial contract has been signed off toDIFFERENCE ENTERTAINMENT and matters concerning the song “SHO LEE” has been resolved amicably with everyone’s interest/stake well represented.
DIFFERENCE ENTERTAINMENT LTD is a responsible company which has built its foundation on creativity and integrity. We hereby notify the entire public that all transactions/business concerning SEAN TIZZLE’s brand can ONLY be handled and channeled through DIFFERENCE ENTERTAINMENT LTD, being the legal owner of the brand.
We would also like to appeal to numerous fans of SEAN TIZZLE to kindly ignore gossip junkies trying to beat a dead horse for the amusement of gist merchants by circulating the alleged “BREACH OF CONTRACT OR ILLEGAL USE OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY” story.”
