Nigerians have been waiting on Fall crooner, Davido to release a statement concerning the allegations being made against him concerning the death of his friend, Tagbo and it looks like the wait is finally over.
Earlier today, the singer had made a statement about bloggers, stating that they are carrying false news but the truth about his friend’s death will be revealed in the statement he will drop soon.
The time has finally come and the official statement from Davido’s lawyer, Norrison Quakers (SAN) has been dropped on his Instagram page and according to this statement, Davido is not tied in any way to the death of Tagbo Umeike rather the only time he was seen with Tagbo by the CCTV in front of Shisha Room was while he was trying to convince the deceased to accept his offer to safely take him home. He further debunks the story that he instructed friends to drop Tagbo’s corpse at the hospital because according to the statement, he was at DNA when he got the sad news about the death of his friend.
While the firm sympathizes with the family of the deceased, it is pleading to all to stop tarnishing the image of its client, David Adeleke who has put a stop to some of his shows and musical engagements to mourn his departed friend.
